Everything in the Forest is the Forest (2022-23) is Clare Hewitt’s project with a community of 12 oak trees at B.I.F.O.R. (University of Birmingham’s research forest)

Collaborating with Clare and Danielle Phelps (artist & paper-maker) to make a fully sustainable photobook of the project. We tested binders with botanical pigments for screen printing and worked with botanical inks for an ink-jet printer.

The collaboration holds conversations around ‘sustainability’ and consumption as well as tangible experiments to progress the aim.
